Studio CDX by Ascent builds and manages large, content-heavy websites for corporates, NGOs and government / quasi-government organisations. These platforms often contain hundreds of pages, rich media assets and complex content structures, where both visual presentation and functional reliability matter deeply.
As an Associate Software Engineer (WordPress), you will work on implementing, maintaining and improving these websites. The role involves translating design concepts into responsive web pages, managing content structures, and ensuring that client websites remain stable, secure and easy to manage.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where attention to detail, structured development practices and a strong sense of ownership are essential.
- Build and maintain WordPress websites using themes, plugins and page builders.
- Translate UI designs into responsive, pixel-accurate web pages with strong attention to detail.
- Implement updates, enhancements and fixes across client websites while maintaining code quality and site stability.
- Work with designers, Key Account Managers and senior developers to implement new pages, features and content updates.
- Ensure websites maintain good performance, security practices and basic SEO hygiene.
- Document changes, organise work clearly and follow structured processes for website updates and deployments.
- You enjoy working with WordPress and building websites that are clean, reliable and easy to manage.
- You are comfortable working with themes, plugins, page builders and basic customisations.
