About the role

Ascent works with businesses at all scales of operations to design and implement practical technology systems that streamline financial operations and improve decision-making.

As a Solution Architect for Zoho Books, you will work closely with client teams to understand their accounting workflows, operational processes and reporting needs, and design structured solutions using Zoho Books and related Zoho ecosystem tools.

This role combines business understanding with system design. You will help translate real-world accounting and finance processes into well-configured digital systems that are reliable, scalable and easy for client teams to operate.

Key responsibilities
  • Engage with client stakeholders to understand accounting workflows, invoicing processes, receivables management and financial reporting requirements.
  • Design structured system configurations within Zoho Books including chart of accounts, invoicing workflows, tax structures and automation rules.
  • Recommend integrations with other systems such as CRM, payment gateways or internal tools to ensure smooth financial data flow.
  • Work with implementation teams to translate the designed solution into a correctly configured Zoho Books setup.
  • Support documentation of workflows, system configurations and operational processes for client teams.
  • Assist in troubleshooting system behaviour, optimisation opportunities and enhancements in existing implementations.
